Frank Vincent DuMond (Amer. 1865–1951) was one of the most influential teacher-painters in 20th-century America. He studied at the Art Students League under Carroll Beckwith and William Sartain, and at the Académie Julian, with Benjamin Constant, Jules Joseph Lefebvre, and Gustav Boulanger. DuMond taught thousands of students at the Art Students League over 50 years, including Norman Rockwell, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Frank J. Reilly.
