Some days there is so much magic that it requires two blog posts!
Yesterday, after my museum visit I got to meet my friend Lisa at her fabulous dance studio – she and I met online when we attended Americans for the Arts Action Fund Executive Director, Nina Tunceli’s, weekly “rescue-your-art-business-from-the-pandemic” office hours – and both of our businesses were indeed rescued by Nina!
Even though I didn’t realize it, the magic had already started a couple of days before my trip when Lisa and I had a brief email connection for the first time in many months. I had only vaguely remembered that Lisa was in Connecticut, and when I checked, I discovered that her dance studio – which I have been wanting to visit – was only 12 minutes from my hotel! Timing fell into place perfectly and I met her there after my museum visit – we were both delayed by traffic and running later than we had planned, but we drove up at exactly the same moment! Clues like this are always indications of more magic to come, if we just open the door…
After a lovely visit in her amazing dance studio, Lisa mentioned a nearby labyrinth at Copper Beech Institute. Hmmmmm. After a slight bit of hesitation- both of us distracted a bit by the other “more important” things we thought we had to do – we dove into the moment and drove the 15 minutes to the beautiful labyrinth!
Walking the labyrinth was the perfect activity for the moment, feeling the healing of Mother Nature around us and reveling in the beauty of the stone labyrinth. At the center was a magic doorway – the portal to abundant joy and resources, and to the abiding love of the divine feminine. Of course we climbed through the doorway — and now we are symbolically within that magic, always!
What an exceptional moment in time – renewing, enriching, life affirming — filled with love and joyous wellbeing! WOW! Amazing things happen when we listen to the whispering voice of the magic in the moment and allow it to direct us…
